Don't you just love fine china? If I could afford to - I would buy out all the finest and prettiest china in the world and have regular high-tea parties with the best cakes and dessert slices, surrounded by hundreds of peonies, great selections of teas and lots and lots of champagne and just great friends..... Things a girl dreams about hey.... This is a Sunday afternoon at my house - high tea for two (for now) with some of my latest purchases...Wishing you all a fabulous weekend!

Oh that looks amazing! I'm looking to go to High Tea for my birthday & although all the menu's seem to be pretty average for the price you pay, I cannot for the life of me, be motivated enough to prepare High Tea for 4!
ReplyDeleteYour sweets look delish!
Thanks Anya. I know - I find it hard to justify to spend so much money. But I guess it's all about the experience. I haven't yet treated myself to any fancy high teas though either. One day :)
DeleteLooks so yummy and elegant.
ReplyDeleteLovely china and so beautifully styled! Did you make everything?
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful weekend, my friend!

Oh no... I bought all the sweets. I would have been baking all day just to make those little sweets. Wish I'd have the energy for that :)
DeleteOh yum! Chocolate eclairs I think I spy. Absolutely delectable. This looks like a feast!
ReplyDeleteOh how lovely! I have an obsession with beautiful China so I would have been in heaven here! I really love the cute little tin of tea too!

ReplyDeleteThanks for the follow Anastasia! I love beautiful China myself, love the Wedgewood set you have. I have the cake tier too :-) (bought it on sale), isn't the orange pekkoe refreshing to drink?! x0x0
ReplyDeleteOh I only get wedgewood when it's on sale... Yes, the tea is very good - although I only bought it for the container :). Thanks for stopping by..xx
