Windows at the heart...

Windows is that critical element that I believe can change the feel of the entire space. Whenever I'm choosing a place to live in - I always pay a lot of attention to the window frame. If the window frame doesn't have certain interesting element or an open feel to it then I feel I will never quite be satisfied with the space. Windows that I have always admired are casement windows (the ones attached to its frame by one or more hinges). And for me the black look works best. I associate that look with classic New York apartments but the windows actually originated in the UK starting out as much smaller versions of the windows below but still full of charm and character. My favourite style are the windows from floor to ceiling as naturally that brings the most light into a space.....Thoughts? Do you have a preference for a particular style?

  1. I agree with you, windows are vital to me too. The bigger the better, I need light always.
I love big ones, simple, as simple as they get.

  3. I love windows, the taller and wider the better! I love floor to ceiling windows, they just make a space feels more spacious.
