Something pretty...

Apologies for the lack of posts for the past week, but to my regret my beautiful white MacBook which I have been lovingly using for the past 5 years has all of a sudden stopped working on me! And after sending off for repair, I was very sadden to find out that it's life has come to an end, as apparently fixing it would cost much more than it is actually worth. Very sad indeed! So, I am forced to part with my beloved computer and will be off shopping for a new one this week! And you'd think the excitement of getting a new toy would appease the disappointment that I am feeling right now, but alas, I would actually much prefer to keep my oldie. Well, as I am typing away on my hubbies computer, which is kind of ugly and really chunky and extremely uncomfortable to use, I am reminded of how great it is to have a computer that feels femininely pretty and that is so very pleasant to use. Anyone feel like that? So, I will definitely be getting another Mac (yes I am a Mac person). But, in the meantime I just thought I'd say hi and leave this gorgeous photo of Eva Mendes featured in May Vogue Italia, who kind of reminds me of the stunning Sophia Loren (maybe it's the hair). Will be back when I get my new computer! Ciao

  1. Oh I feel your loss Anastasia! My white Macbook went to computer heaven just a month ago after doing 4.5yrs with me. I got a MacBook Pro 15" as a replacement and I must say I love it. But my little white Macbook will always hold a special place in my heart :)
    Happy shopping,
    Jxx

  11. Eeks... that must be annoying beyond belief. So much of our lives are now stored in our little computers, that it would be bizarre to have it taken away in one fell swoop. Still, 5 years is a long time for a laptop, so it has served you well. (I'm a Mac girl too!)

Oh and the images are stunning! So much drama and beauty. Virginia x
